Samba master Jozi Levi and Turkey’s first and only batucada band Bate Bumbo will transport GHETTO to the tropics for a night with Jozi Levi’s new “Brasil Project”. They will bring us a musical and dance feast of Brazil’s Samba, Bossa, Nova, Bahiao and Pagode musical styles. The party will continue through morning hours with GHETTO’s resident DJ’s and their own Latin musical tour.

One of last year’s most memorable events at GHETTO was the performance of Transglobal Underground, even though it was hit by the hardest snow storm in years. GHETTO is hosting TGU again this year - one of indi music scene’s legendary groups.
Transglobal Underground was created in the 90’s when the bass and drums were two separate things, when Asian music was still exotic, dub and reggae were still limited to certain clubs and dj’s. Today TGU is considered to be the pioneer who fused western dance music with Arabic music, Asian music, African music – helping turn a dream to reality.
Come to GHETTO to experience this amazing group play songs from their latest album “Moonshout” which has musical influences from such diverse cultures as India, Iraq, Hungary, France, Brazil, Portugal and Senegal; as well as their older repertoire.

Norrda

Turkeys leading clarinet player Serkan Çağrı is at GHETTO with his Rumeli Band project for a festive Thracian night of entatainment. Rumeli Band brings us traditional folk songs from Thrace and the Balkans with a modern twist , mixing mandolin, horns, accordeon and piano in Serkan Çağrı’s original style.
After the concert the Vienna based DJ Dunkelbunt will spin the discs to play his own compositions as well as remixes of sounds from bands like the Amsterdam Kezmer Band, Fanfare Ciocarlia, Taraf de Haidouks and Orient Expressions.

Turkey’s first series of acoustic concerts “Acoustic Episodes” is returning to GHETTO for its second season with a selection of acoustic performances from elite Turkish artists. Performances kick off with the talented pop/rock artist Nev on Saturday October the 29th. Nev will perform songs from his 3 recent albums which include songs such as “Zor” (difficult), “Efkarl?”, “Bazen” (sometimes), “Susma” (don’t be quiet), “S�kut-u hayal” (Disappointment) which all topped the Turkish charts for months. During this special acoustic concert full of surprises, Nev will reveal a very different side of his talent.
